During one of my gathering with my ex-colleagues, they asked about my wedding preparations. Upon knowing that I have yet to finalize my AD WG and EG, one of them strongly encouraged me to drop by Sophia Wedding Collection (SWC) to take a look at their collection. She raved about their pretty gowns and their good make-up skills SWC did for her sister-in-law.
I am looking for gowns that gives people a princess feel, simple but yet classy at the same time. Preferably with some lace at the edges of the train.
I did some research on SWC and a few other bridal studios like Z Wedding, White Link, Silhouette The Atelier and Yvonne Creative. Also saw some of the wedding pics posted by some brides wearing the wedding gowns from the various boutiques.
Saw White Link's Bridal Fashion Show at Marina Mandarin's Wedding Show. Their gowns are not really my cup of tea. Checked out Silhouette. They have really fantastic gowns but of course tagged to very nice prices too. :(
Came across many awesome gowns in the Jan-Jun Edition of Blissful Brides. Tried to make an appointment with Z Wedding on the same day as my appointment with SWC but they were fully booked. So I dropped by SWC first.
Hebe, the coordinator at SWC was really nice and patient. I told her that I needed an extra set of EG/WG for my local PS with Lightedpixels and she added this into the package without hesitation. Candy was the lady who helped to search for gowns that suit me. On the day of my visit, I tried 2 WG and 1 EG. I love it! One of the gowns was simple with a sweetheart neckline and toga on the left side the bottom is very bling! It gives me a very sweet princess look while the other gown gave a more sexy feel with a low cut neckline, body hugging corset and the whole dress is so bling! The EG is a striking fuschia pink toga with black lace as the toga. The edges are surrounded by black lace. Totally in love with the colour contrast!
Discussed with Zhi Xiang and Sherline. Sherline thinks that their offer is great and having accompanied other girlfriends to other boutiques, she was definitely the person to ask if this deal is good. Zhi Xiang on the other hand felt that we did not give other boutiques a chance and is therefore hesitant on signing with them. But the majority wins! Haha.. I was really won over by their pretty gowns.

永恒的爱情之旅
Today, our eternal love journey blog was officially created. We feel so blessed not only to have one another, but to get to celebrate our love with all of you thru this blog.
Eliz and I knew each other for about 9years before we started dating again in 2007. Over the years, we are happy to have gone through the good and bad times. It has been an amazing journey and I seriously couldn’t imagine we have been through so much together. So after five years of dating, i finally decided to propose to her on 14 January 2012. What's more, we have also decided to tie the knot on 24 November 2013!
And as we are approaching to a whole new chapter next year, we thought that it would be good to actually note down the 酸甜苦辣 and also share our preparation for our big day. So please stay tuned for more updates.

The Proposal I
It was a simple day. After dinner, we had actually agreed to go KTV but because I was held up at night, we couldn't make it for the KTV in time. So dear dear suggested to go Waterfront and just sit down and chat.
As usual, we chat about anything under the sun and it did not strike me that he will propose on this normal day. He even dropped hints like if I was ok if the proposal was not done in a posh venue with roses and expensive gifts, would I mind. But it did not occur to me that he will propose on that very night.
He suggested to walk around and in the end, we stopped at somewhere with lesser people. Suddenly, he said that we can start searching for a banquet location and I rebutted by saying no proposal nothing how to look for banquet as we have to finalise a wedding day. He kneeled down and took the proposal ring and said other touching things. My tears dropped uncontrollably. I was shocked and touched.. I agreed to his proposal.
The kpoh me started to ask him about his search for this ring. It was then I realized he bought the diamond from a diamond dealer (he went with mummy!) and he designed the ring! Aww… So sweet.
